How do you clean the stubborn white film in the plastic blender jar? ( it must be the Flax..)

Someone wrote this tip on this blog a long time ago, and it works for me…
Put half of a dishwasher detergent tablet or a tablespoon or two of powder detergent in the blender jar with some warm water. Blend it on high for one cycle and remove it from the blender base. Leave it on the counter for an hour or two and then rinse. That’s what works for me.
I was told by a Blendtec rep that it was likely hard water build-up from letting the container air dry. The dishwasher liquid trick helped, but not totally. I did find that some baking soda paste helped a lot; it’s mildly abrasive, but won’t actually scratch the container. Since I’ve started drying it immediately after washing I haven’t had an issue.
